In compliance with the provisions of K. S. A. 25-2310, notice is hereby given that the books for registration of voters for the ELLSWORTH COUNTY GENERAL ELECTION will be open at the following places during their regular hours as specified at their place of business.

A citizen of the United States who is eighteen (18) years of age and upward, or who will have attained the age of eighteen (18) years at the next election, must register before he or she can vote. Registration closes fifteen (15) days prior to every election.
When a voter has been registered according to law, his or her registration shall continue to be valid until one of the following occurs:
(1) The voter changes name by marriage, divorce or legal proceedings
(2) The voter changes residence.
If any of the above has occurred, you must re-register.
All first time voters in Ellsworth County, in compliance with the Federal Help America Vote Act (HAVA) must present identification at the time of registration. Failure to do so will result in identification being requested before voting on Election Day.
Any person may apply in person or by mail to the County Election Office, 210 N. Kansas, Ellsworth, KS 67439 to be registered. Application forms shall be provided by the County Election Officer upon request or in writing by an individual applicant. Such application shall be signed by the applicant under penalty of perjury.
